an independent app studio in Kingston, Ontario

Small apps, made by hand, for real life.

I'm Sarah, and FlyFinder is my one-person studio. I make apps for eating well on a budget, shopping Canadian, caring for aging parents, saving family stories, staying safe from phone scams, planting trees and fly fishing.

About

painter and programmer

I'm a Canadian oil painter who also builds apps, and I approach both the same way: notice something real, then make it by hand.

Every FlyFinder app is mine from idea to icon: the design, the code, the App Store and Google Play listings, and the support emails. They come from problems I've seen up close, like grocery bills, finding Canadian businesses to support, caring for aging parents, keeping family stories, phone scams aimed at families, tracking a planting season, and knowing what to tie on before a day on the river.

In 2026 I shipped SaleSavor on both app stores, took part in RevenueCat's Shipaton, and entered the Amazon Developer Hackathon. I also take painting commissions at lewisart.ca.
